15 Hours Free Childcare (Universal Entitlement)

All families in England with children aged 3 and 4 years old are eligible for 15 hours of free childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year.

Eligibility: Available to all families, regardless of income or employment status.

How It Works at Ladels:

  • You can use these hours flexibly across our sessions.
  • We work with you to create a schedule that best suits your family’s needs.

15 Hours Free Childcare for Eligible 2-Year-Olds

Some 2-year-olds may also qualify for 15 hours of free childcare per week.

Eligibility:

  • Families receiving certain benefits (e.g., Universal Credit, Income Support).
  • Children with an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plan.

How to Apply:

  • Check eligibility with your local authority or visit [your nursery’s registration page].
  • Provide the eligibility code to us, and we’ll help you set up your sessions.

30 Hours Free Childcare (Extended Entitlement)

Working families with children aged 3 and 4 years old may be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare per week.

Eligibility:

  • Both parents (or one in a single-parent household) must earn at least £152 per week (equivalent to 16 hours at minimum wage) but less than £100,000 annually.

How It Works at Ladels:

  • Use these hours flexibly throughout the week.
  • Speak to our team to customize your childcare plan.

Tax-Free Childcare Scheme

Save 20% on childcare costs with the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.

How It Works:

  • For every £8 you pay into your childcare account, the government adds £2, up to £2,000 per year per child.
  • This can be used for fees at Ladels Day Nursery, including extras like meals and additional sessions.

Eligibility:

  • Available to working families, including self-employed individuals.
  • Not available if you’re claiming Tax Credits, Universal Credit, or childcare vouchers.

Universal Credit for Childcare Costs

If you receive Universal Credit, you could claim up to:

  • 85% of childcare costs for children under 16.
  • Up to £646 per month for one child or £1,108 for two or more children.

How It Works:

  • Pay for childcare upfront and submit a claim via Universal Credit.
  • Provide proof of payments (receipts or invoices).

Childcare Vouchers (Closed to New Applicants)

If you’re already enrolled in a workplace Childcare Voucher Scheme, you can continue using it to pay for childcare at Ladels Day Nursery.

How It Works:

Vouchers are deducted from your pre-tax salary, saving you money on National Insurance and Income Tax.

Note: This scheme is no longer open to new applicants.
